This well known Queensland Group Nc Torana is a GTR XU-1 clone with a LJ body built in May 1972. First developed by Greg Burrowes, in 1994, it ran at Lakeside’s Historic Queensland in 1995. Originally the car was finished in the standard, but quite rare, GMH Linamint and now presents in a definitely more vibrant ‘ Kermit Green’. In October 2005 the GTR passed to David Malone who for the next 8 years was active in SE Queensland sprints and hill climbs with some circuit work at Morgan Park, Warwi

In perfect condition excluding the large daggy seat, hydraulic brakes, tach/hour meter, balanced for a 85 kg driver so she goes really well in the corners around the back yard, an impulse buy new which ignored my age. VS commodore cup car. Built new by Dean ORR of Perkins Engineering, and never raced as class was cancelled prior to completion. The shell was a NOS lightweight shell with no Holden VIN or chassis number. Running 253 Gene Cook race engine. Aluminium Commodore Cup car heads. Super T10 PPG dog box full floater differential Alcon 6 spot brakes. AIM dash. Race Tech seat PWR radiator. Currently Logged as improved production but most suited as entry level sport sedan. Car has only completed in a hand
