Originally built for the Australian Motor Racing Series. Raced once but series stopped. Since then the engine was rebuilt with best components available. 1961 Ausper Formula Junior T3 Chassis: T 304-2 Very rare Ausper Formula Junior, likely to be one of only two remaining cars. Recently campaigned in the FJHRA/HSCC Silverline UK Championship although eligible for many other events worldwide. This 72 Camaro is a project I started to build for the Australian Tans Am class. It has been caged and had the floor modified to suit the correct gearbox and where the muffler will sit. It has also had the pedal box master cylinders installed. The only thing missing is the 2 front guards. The car will also come with 2 brand new full quarter panels, a fiberglass bonnet, new race seat, pedal box, race fuel tank and brand new limited slip differential from the US. Ivan Tighe built this unique race car to compete in the Australian Hill Climb Championship. It was powered by an air-cooled two cylinder Vincent engine. In 1964, Tighe beat his nemesis, Bruce Walton, to capture the Austrailian Hill Climb Championship.
