WPOZZZ94ZLN401382KEY FACTS * A highly modified, track-focused example of the transaxle modern classic sports car powered by a stage five hybrid turbocharged and fitted with a 951 inter cooler 3.0-litre inline-four, sending up to 600bhp to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with an odometer displays of only 176,231 km from new. * This 1990 Porsche 944 S2 has been modified as a track day focussed build, which was undertaken by Buchanan Automotive at a total cost of around $200,000 AUD and is noted as a Porsche Cup Winner and while significant upgrades have been carried out it still remains a very usable daily driver with full NSW road Registration. * EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES * The Porsche 944 S2 features the more aerodynamic Turbo-style front end, including front fog lights and long-range driving lights. * This example is finished in Alpine White paintwork with Martini livery over a black vinyl and leather-trimmed interior, which now features Recaro Sportster CS front seats. * It now rides on 17-inch Fuchs alloy wheels, framing Porsche 3.6 Turbo brakes and 965 drilled discs, and shod in Hankook Ventus semi-slick tyres. * Factory-fitted equipment includes electric windows, a sunroof, headlamp washers, electrically adjustable door mirrors, air conditioning, and a heated rear windscreen. * Interior modifications to the car include a Pioneer sound system, a VBOX data logger, a turbo boost gauge, and an aftermarket VDO oil temperature gauge. * A full rundown of the car’s mechanical modifications is listed below.
