Purpose built for track competition only and then enhanced even further once here on our shores this fantastic FFR Challenge Cobra is the competition version of the best selling Mk4 Roadster from the bespoke car creators Factory Five Racing in Wareham/Massachusette USA. They have become one of the best globally to recreate the exact tribute/replica to AC Cobra's and Daytona's of the time from 60's. The car takes the Mk44 Roadster to a more serious level, and is engineered to be used in wheel-to-wheel road racing, drag racing, and is eligible for NASA's Factory Five Challenge series. The growth and success or USA and Challenge Cars have left pits and headed for the starting grid literally thousands of times since the car racing category entered production in 2000. No other "Cobra" or period racing car tribute/replica can even come close to the racing hours and track wins of the FFR Challenge Car design. The Challenge Car is not just completely dominant, it's truly the only real option for serious competition in a replica design. This truly is not for the faint hearted and requires a serious level of driver skill and experience.

This amazing and very rarely seen FFR Challenge Cobra has been well looked after and has not been a bashed up race car with careful ownership and maintained as well clean competition as mentioned with current CAMS logbook, this FFR Challenge is ready for competition and racing events now. The chassis is a copy of the original Cobra with fully adjustable suspension with height adjustable coil over shockers with a Mustang 4 point rear end. The brakes have been upgrade to Willwood 6 piston callipers front and 4 piston on rear for increasing balance and stopping power. She has power steering rack and pinion unassisted. The heart of this best is a "stroked" 302 to 347 with rev limited to 6,000rpm with 4 downdraft "IDF Webers" with alloy heads producing 450+ HP at the rear wheels. Full ceramic coated exhausts side pipes functional sound incredible and mated to a 5 speed Tremec gearbox HD shatter proof housing also fitted. Most importantly for safety and racing parameters she has been fitted with a "CAMS" approved roll cage, CAMS certificate attached as well as onboard in built fire systems and extinguishers as well as a baffled fuel tank safety cell also been fitted.
