For sale is this Open Wheeled Formula styled Racecar as an unfinished restoration project. The car was designed and built in the early 1990’s? and has been sitting for many years. My father was restoring the car at the time he passed away in 2020 and we do not have any use for it. 1988 VAN DIEMEN FORMULA FORD $48,000 This car chassis number 1249 was the yellow prototype for the 1988 Van Diemen with Allan McNish involved in the development. It was then a works car for Van Diemen in 1988 with the Duckham’s oil yellow and blue livery. The car was raced by Derek Higgins and won the 1988 ESSO FF1600 and British RAC FF600 Championships. It was third in the 1988 Formula Ford Festival, number 47. In 1990 and again in 1991 driven by John Thompson it won the Western Canadia
