1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

A perfect car for a circuit-focused build. It has a lot of bodywork needed to be done as it is a statutory right off with almost all the airbags having blown. There is no structural damage however with the car driving and engine running smoothly. And plenty more on top of this; rough Lots of modifications done over in Syndey, too much to list here and easier explained in person.
