An Exercise in Excess Just occasionally a car gets made to celebrate what can be done when a bunch of engineers get together and tear up the rule book. With the impending move towards electrification and hybridisation, the boffins at Aston Martin huddled together and talked in hushed tones about the idea of taking the mega twin-turbo 5.2 litre V12 from the DBS Superleggera and shoehorning it into the smallest car they make, the Vantage. What we ended up with after countless hours and millions

Introducing to the market, this breathtaking 2018 Aston Martin DB11. Presenting well in its Metallic Silver finish, over a Black Leather trimmed interior, this Aston provides a sharpened experience of the DB chassis, while retaining the ethos of the model, achieving the perfect blend of GT comforts and agile handling. With ‘Superleggera’ meaning super-light, the DBS is 177kg lighter than its DB11 brother, upon which it is based. This along with an increase in power, place the DBS at the very pi

It becomes all too easy to use hyperbole and cliche when describing a particular car having “the best spec” or “no box left unticked” etcetera, however for this particular DBS we absolutely mean it! This Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is so jaw-droppingly beautiful that we should add the word “art" in front of “collector" instead of “car”. No matter what angle this car is viewed from it is a miracle of design and engineering where the aesthetic hasn’t been compromised by anyone in a lab coat. W

Established as a modern classic, the Vanquish epitomises Aston Martin's core values of power, beauty, and soul. With such low kilometres and in this condition, its appeal is undeniable. A grand finale for the “Works Service” alchemists at Newport Pagnell, the Aston Martin Vanquish S was the last model to leave the original Aston Martin Lagonda factory in Milton Keynes before all operations moved to the mega factory in Gaydon. Before the One-77 was released, the Vanquish S was Aston Martin’s fa

When you think of automotive design-houses, your mind immediately goes to the big four; Pininfarina, Bertone, Touring and the most visionary of them all, Zagato. Aston Martin have had a long-standing partnership with Zagato that dates to the 1960's with their first release together, the Coachbuilt Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of which only 20 originals were made, making them arguably one of the most sought-after Aston Martins of the century. Jumping 50 years into the future, the second-generatio

It all began in 2009 when Aston Martin unveiled the first generation of the V12 Vantage. The concept was pure brilliance: take Aston Martin's largest engine, fit it into their smallest car, and hope for the best. But what emerged was a true masterpiece. The V12 Vantage became highly coveted and immensely collectable. Fast forward to 2023, and they've repeated the feat with even more finesse. The new V12 Vantage unmistakably exudes sophistication. While retaining the iconic Vantage silhouette, i

With the 100 years of MG celebrations currently happening, it is a great time to own a MG. This MG B is set up for racing, however, can be registered under Classic Vehicle Registration. Has had plenty of performance work done to it and has recently had a considerable amount of money spent on refreshing it. I can share information with those who are serious. A great fun little car, I just have some other projects on the go now.
