This is a unique piece of V8 Supercar and Dick Johnson Racing history and has only had two owners after its time at DJR. Originally built as an AU model Ford Falcon V8 Supercar, this car (chassis DJR AU12) was converted to BA bodywork by DJR and became a part of the Bowden Collection of cars before being purchased by its current Queensland-based owner in 2014. This BMW race car was built to a very high standard by Karl Begg in 2016, and then subsequently maintained and improved by Garth Walden and his gun team at GWR Australia continuously since my purchase from KB in 2017. Car has had an easy run under my ownership, competing only in the NSW PTC state championship from 2018 through to 2023 - with reduced appearances in the Covid affected years. Won B2 Class and second in the club championship in NSW PTC 2023. Very quick car in the right hands.
