The Holden Special Vehicles SV5000 was a proper V8 bruiser and was built in very limited numbers (359 in total) between 1989 and 1991. Based on the VN Commodore, the SV5000 started life in Holden’s Elizabeth plant in South Australia before being transferred to the boffins over at HSV, who were located in Notting Hill in Victoria at the time. Third formula 3 built by Ron Tauranack and raced successfully by Jim Sullivan (the driver of the year to Europe 1964) From 65 to 70 owned by Promecon. Up for regretable sale is my 325 convertible, I have owned and built this car over the last 14yrs. Don't need to sell, just no time now to use it. What started life as a stock 325 auto convertible is now a 6spd manual, turboed M50 b25 stoker (2.8) with Haltech platinum sport ecu running on E85 making 380rwkw at 20 pound and 440kw at 26 pound.
