Owned this for almost 20 years, car body has around 100 thou on it, the engine was built with bigger cams, stage 2 BC Engine was rebuilt with a triple plate gasket kit throughout, runs E85 1000cc injectors, bigger external fuel pump, brand new hyper gear turbo low mount with steam pipe manifold, straight through 3 inch exhaust with twin blast pipes, five stud conversion with s15 brakes. 1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Bob Fernley , Force India, owned the car and ran Jim Crawford(Ex F1) and Michael Roe in the 1984 CanAm championship, the RK 847 finished a credible 2nd in its inaugural year of competition. A major rebuild/restoration has been completed to bring this car back to the way it looked in the June 1984 Autosport track test article, notably with the high mounted single plane front wing which was the trademark of this Chris Murphy designed race car.
