This is the first turbo charged race car log booked by CAMS Full history of this car is known, & with COD is eligible for historic racing. This is a project, currently a rolling chassis with rebuilt engine & trans with only the original body work being the main item to be made.

I’ve owned this vehicle for over 20 years and selfishly not done anything with it , time for a full restoration and return to the track after a 50 year absence . Was built in 1966 as Chimaera Mk 3 with BMC B series engine and cigar shaped body and raced by Frank Brewster. Peter Turner bought it in 1967 , renamed it Grantinni and upgraded to a larger capacity B series engine and raced at Templestowe , Calder , Hume Weir and Winton before rebuilding the car in 1969 with new rear bodywork and a Ho

Aston Martin GT4 vantage with a 4.7 litre v8 it was very competitive when Medecke ran the car and won some races in its class lapping Phillip Island in the low 1min 38's the recent gt4's were 1 min 42's so would be a very competive car still. photo shows it has been confirmed to run by Australian gt4
