This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a genuine historic rally car with real pedigree. This car was purchased new 1975 and immediately turned into a rally car. It competed in the 1975 and the 1976 Southern Cross International Rallies. It was taken off the road and extensively refurbished and strengthened to undertake the gruelling 1977 London to Sydney Singapore Airlines Rally, the longest car rally ever held, covering 30,000 klms. Recent 2Pk undercoat. Body is straight. Spare dash with rev counter. 2 engines 1600 and 2000L with extractor and seperate cross member and stabaliser bar. Both engines turn easily. Standard 4sp gearbox. Spare 1600 cyl head and rocker shaft. Floor,wells and heater bubble origional. Dash cracked, bottom of doors repaired.Did not strip myself but all parts appear to be present. Brake booster rusted. Small rust front floor corners only. Will look at decent offers. Selling as want to buy a caravan.
