I’ve owned this vehicle for over 20 years and selfishly not done anything with it , time for a full restoration and return to the track after a 50 year absence . Was built in 1966 as Chimaera Mk 3 with BMC B series engine and cigar shaped body and raced by Frank Brewster. 2000 GC8 WRX Rolling Shell, was being built for Tarmac Rally and has a CAMS certified cage. Does not extend to the front towers at this stage, although the strut tops have had cromoly plates added over them and the A pillar to chassis rails have extra bracing. Has sill jack points also. The cage has double diagonal bracing throughout and gussets everywhere. Seat mounts are welded in also. Was a clear title undamaged road car and has been kept indoors since it was pulled off the road in 2014/15.
