1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

This is a genuine NG Elfin with build plate EP 002 and comes with current log book and COD. It has had extensive development work and is a front running car with top HP engine, weight reduction where allowed and sorted steering and suspension. It comes with 2 sets of wheels and spares include a nose cane, brake drums, trailing arms, distributor, front shocks and assorted items. Wheel alignment bars are also included. Last outing at Phillip Island Festival of Speed qualified 3rd out of 16 cars.

For Sale The fastest trophy car in Australia, car is immaculate inside and out. This car finished 2nd outright in the 2016 Bathurst 12 hour and 8th outright in the 2017 12 hour, the car was re-shelled and serviced by Nismo Japan after the 2017 race and was never raced.
