This car was last raced at Phillip Island in 2016. It qualified 2nd but spun in the wet and hit a guard rail in a side front impact that bent the chassis frame. A new frame was bought and most of the supports radiator elements and cowls were replaced. The car's front suspension was not damaged and the wheel alignment is as perfect as it was when the pre-race work and oil changes were done before the event. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

1999 MGF race car. Fully road registered genuine low mileage race car, with LE500 front lights and bumper, TF suspension, TF brakes, near new seat, in-date harness and new battery. Currently log booked and sold with road wheels and tyres, but full set of race wheels (tyres need replacing) available by negotiation. Last outing at Phillip Island Festival of Speed qualified 3rd out of 16 cars.
