In perfect condition excluding the large daggy seat, hydraulic brakes, tach/hour meter, balanced for a 85 kg driver so she goes really well in the corners around the back yard, an impulse buy new which ignored my age. This Evo updated Mercedes AMG is a great example. It has proven fast and reliable with a front row qualifying efforts and toping the time sheets many times in 2023. This car was built in 1965 as one of 2 that was run in that years European Formula 2 as works and fitted with the new BRM F2 engine. Some 7 cars were built and Cooper too the deacon to have its cars entered and rob by Ken Tyrrell on behalf of the works. The drivers for that works entry for 1965 were John Surtees, Bob Bondurant and principally Jackie Stewart. This car was predominantly driven by Stewart at all UK and European GP's. Incidentally, Stewart was 1964 Formula 3 Champion at that stage.
