1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA. Originally built for the Australian Motor Racing Series. Raced once but series stopped. Since then the engine was rebuilt with best components available. Engine Being a 3Litre 6G72 Mitsubishi Twin turbo V6. Components included Corillo Rods, Ferera Valves, JE Forged pistons, Garret GT 28 turbos, Custom ground cam etc. Very limited miles on engine. Since then the engine was rebuilt with the best components 3L 6G72 Mitsubishi Twin turbo V6, Corrillo Rods Ferera Valves amd springs, JE forged pistons, Garret GT 28 Turbos limited miles on engine.
