This well known Queensland Group Nc Torana is a GTR XU-1 clone with a LJ body built in May 1972. First developed by Greg Burrowes, in 1994, it ran at Lakeside’s Historic Queensland in 1995. Originally the car was finished in the standard, but quite rare, GMH Linamint and now presents in a definitely more vibrant ‘ Kermit Green’. In October 2005 the GTR passed to David Malone who for the next 8 years was active in SE Queensland sprints and hill climbs with some circuit work at Morgan Park, Warwi

VS commodore cup car. Built new by Dean ORR of Perkins Engineering, and never raced as class was cancelled prior to completion. The shell was a NOS lightweight shell with no Holden VIN or chassis number. Running 253 Gene Cook race engine. Aluminium Commodore Cup car heads. Super T10 PPG dog box full floater differential Alcon 6 spot brakes. AIM dash. Race Tech seat PWR radiator. Currently Logged as improved production but most suited as entry level sport sedan. One of 2 x A9X’S used by Bob Morris to win the 1979 Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC). Raced Bathurst 1000: 1977 and 1978. ATCC outright wins in 1978 and 1979. 3 owners from new, original cams logbook. Holden LX Torana 4 Door Complete bare body Shell. All rust removed from body shell, new sills, A pillars, floor, boot, etc etc. Repair invoice available on request. All body deadener removed. Body has been stich welded. Wheel arches not done due was going fit race flairs. Body in bare metal and rust coated. Drivers door slight mark. Body ready for roll cage.
