This car was last raced at Phillip Island in 2016. It qualified 2nd but spun in the wet and hit a guard rail in a side front impact that bent the chassis frame. A new frame was bought and most of the supports radiator elements and cowls were replaced. The car's front suspension was not damaged and the wheel alignment is as perfect as it was when the pre-race work and oil changes were done before the event. Aston Martin GT4 vantage with a 4.7 litre v8 it was very competitive when Medecke ran the car and won some races in its class lapping Phillip Island in the low 1min 38's the recent gt4's were 1 min 42's so would be a very competive car still. photo shows it has been confirmed to run by Australian gt4
