I purchased with the idea of building a race car but I already have too many other cars and projects. Written off (stat write off) due to some basic damage to the rear quarter panel, some suspension arms and a wheel. Both the guard and the suspension arms have been repaired as shown. I'm happy to share the progress photos of the repair to the quarter panel but it was just from a car park fender bender and was nothing considerable at all. (refer to last photo) May 2023 build date. The Holden Special Vehicles SV5000 was a proper V8 bruiser and was built in very limited numbers (359 in total) between 1989 and 1991. Based on the VN Commodore, the SV5000 started life in Holden’s Elizabeth plant in South Australia before being transferred to the boffins over at HSV, who were located in Notting Hill in Victoria at the time.
