The Holden Special Vehicles SV5000 was a proper V8 bruiser and was built in very limited numbers (359 in total) between 1989 and 1991. Based on the VN Commodore, the SV5000 started life in Holden’s Elizabeth plant in South Australia before being transferred to the boffins over at HSV, who were located in Notting Hill in Victoria at the time. Selling my 2011 Dallara F308 with Neil Brown Engineering Engine. Car was run by T-sport and won the 2012 British F3 National class. Car has run very successfully in the NSW formula race car championship. Engine had under 1000km on it so plenty of life left with rebuilds recommended around 5000km but have seen them up to 7000km.
