1988 VAN DIEMEN FORMULA FORD $48,000 This car chassis number 1249 was the yellow prototype for the 1988 Van Diemen with Allan McNish involved in the development. It was then a works car for Van Diemen in 1988 with the Duckham’s oil yellow and blue livery. The car was raced by Derek Higgins and won the 1988 ESSO FF1600 and British RAC FF600 Championships. 1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA.
