This car was built by Paul Trevethan for Mark Johnson and was first Log Booked in November 1998. The original Lotus road car was badly damaged so a Mk.1 Cortina shell was sourced and built to full Lotus specifications and retains the original Lotus identification plates. Following an engine bay fire last year the car has had an extensive rebuild with every part checked and/or replaced. This is a unique piece of V8 Supercar and Dick Johnson Racing history and has only had two owners after its time at DJR.
