1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA. Originally built for the Australian Motor Racing Series. Raced once but series stopped. Since then the engine was rebuilt with best components available. Engine Being a 3Litre 6G72 Mitsubishi Twin turbo V6. Components included Corillo Rods, Ferera Valves, JE Forged pistons, Garret GT 28 turbos, Custom ground cam etc. Very limited miles on engine.
