This Mallock U2 was built under license in New Zealand in 1969 using all the usual components. It raced successfully for 10 years when it was purchased by a prominent racer/constructor as a base for a sports racing car to compete in the SCANZ national sports car championship during the 1980's. Third formula 3 built by Ron Tauranack and raced successfully by Jim Sullivan (the driver of the year to Europe 1964) From 65 to 70 owned by Promecon. Then purchase by Fred Opert of the USA, third owner Joe Bosworth raced as a formula Ford for 10 years in USA. Race logbook goes with car. Brought back to Australia and disassembled to rebuild.
