This car was built by Paul Trevethan for Mark Johnson and was first Log Booked in November 1998. The original Lotus road car was badly damaged so a Mk.1 Cortina shell was sourced and built to full Lotus specifications and retains the original Lotus identification plates. Following an engine bay fire last year the car has had an extensive rebuild with every part checked and/or replaced. This is a 2008 BMW M3 in fantastic condition, it is an English import by the previous owner, who imported the car but without an import approval. As such he was given 3 options by the department of infrastructure, re-export the car, have it crushed, or import it as a race car. As the owner did not have a race car licence, he sold it to me and I imported it as a race car – the vehicle has NEVER been on a race track (YET).
