Developed for the Formula Mirage Category, this Formula Ford 2000 Chassis track car has been used as a training open wheel racer. Engine Details: 2-Litre, DOHC, 4-Valve, Mitsubishi 4G63 engine . The Formula Mirage was a racing class supported by the Japan Automobile Federation and Mitsubishi. Third formula 3 built by Ron Tauranack and raced successfully by Jim Sullivan (the driver of the year to Europe 1964) From 65 to 70 owned by Promecon. Then purchase by Fred Opert of the USA, third owner Joe Bosworth raced as a formula Ford for 10 years in USA. Race logbook goes with car. Brought back to Australia and disassembled to rebuild.
