In 2019 the car was refreshed, looked over and motor was rebuilt by the highly regarded Mitsubishi Evolution specialist Nick Ashwin of NA Autosport and Engineering. The invoices for this work total over $30,000. Originally purchased in 2017 as a repairable writeoff with minimal damage to the front subframe. This C180K quickly had the full running gear removed and swapped with the CLK63.
