1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

This is a genuine NG Elfin with build plate EP 002 and comes with current log book and COD. It has had extensive development work and is a front running car with top HP engine, weight reduction where allowed and sorted steering and suspension. It comes with 2 sets of wheels and spares include a nose cane, brake drums, trailing arms, distributor, front shocks and assorted items. Wheel alignment bars are also included. With the 100 years of MG celebrations currently happening, it is a great time to own a MG. This MG B is set up for racing, however, can be registered under Classic Vehicle Registration. Has had plenty of performance work done to it and has recently had a considerable amount of money spent on refreshing it. I can share information with those who are serious.
