2005 WRX STI was a genuine STI. Has complete hand made fibreglass and carbon fibre clip on front end. Runs a link GT4 ecu, tein suspension, rear wing, bigger turbo, front mounted intercooler, brembo brakes, brake ducts, running 295 nankang AR1 only a few laps old. Have run up to 315 tyres as well. Lightened flywheel with heavy duty clutch and also just fitted new bushes and linkages to gearbox so shifter is very smooth and small throw. This car was built in 1965 as one of 2 that was run in that years European Formula 2 as works and fitted with the new BRM F2 engine. Some 7 cars were built and Cooper too the deacon to have its cars entered and rob by Ken Tyrrell on behalf of the works. The drivers for that works entry for 1965 were John Surtees, Bob Bondurant and principally Jackie Stewart. This car was predominantly driven by Stewart at all UK and European GP's. Incidentally, Stewart was 1964 Formula 3 Champion at that stage.
