Elfin MR8c Deposit taken. Ex Garry Cooper, Larry Perkins (1979 Rothmans winner), Didier Pironi (1980 AGP 3rd, lapped all the other 5000's), Sam Shahin. Stunning restoration by K&A that is a credit to its previous owner and really belongs in a museum. 100% race ready with spare package. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

This race-winning car was driven by Paul Stokell in the 1990 Driver to Europe Series - it was placed 2nd in the championship to Russell Ingall driving a later model 1990 Van Diemen. It has been restored to the highest standard and has been lightly raced since. The car is entered for the 2024 Baskerville Historics in November 2024 where it is to be driven by Paul Stokell. This is a genuine NG Elfin with build plate EP 002 and comes with current log book and COD. It has had extensive development work and is a front running car with top HP engine, weight reduction where allowed and sorted steering and suspension. It comes with 2 sets of wheels and spares include a nose cane, brake drums, trailing arms, distributor, front shocks and assorted items. Wheel alignment bars are also included. Last outing at Phillip Island Festival of Speed qualified 3rd out of 16 cars.
