Aston Martin GT4 vantage with a 4.7 litre v8 it was very competitive when Medecke ran the car and won some races in its class lapping Phillip Island in the low 1min 38's the recent gt4's were 1 min 42's so would be a very competive car still. photo shows it has been confirmed to run by Australian gt4

Originally built for the Australian Motor Racing Series. Raced once but series stopped. Since then the engine was rebuilt with best components available. This car was built in 1965 as one of 2 that was run in that years European Formula 2 as works and fitted with the new BRM F2 engine. Some 7 cars were built and Cooper too the deacon to have its cars entered and rob by Ken Tyrrell on behalf of the works. The drivers for that works entry for 1965 were John Surtees, Bob Bondurant and principally Jackie Stewart. This car was predominantly driven by Stewart at all UK and European GP's. Incidentally, Stewart was 1964 Formula 3 Champion at that stage.
