In 2019 the car was refreshed, looked over and motor was rebuilt by the highly regarded Mitsubishi Evolution specialist Nick Ashwin of NA Autosport and Engineering. The invoices for this work total over $30,000. For those unfamiliar with Nick he renowned as one of the best in the business having worked for the likes of Chris Atkinson, Possum Bourne Motorsport and Neal Lowe Motorsport amongst other local and international outfits.

This well known Queensland Group Nc Torana is a GTR XU-1 clone with a LJ body built in May 1972. First developed by Greg Burrowes, in 1994, it ran at Lakeside’s Historic Queensland in 1995.
