This well known Queensland Group Nc Torana is a GTR XU-1 clone with a LJ body built in May 1972. First developed by Greg Burrowes, in 1994, it ran at Lakeside’s Historic Queensland in 1995. Originally the car was finished in the standard, but quite rare, GMH Linamint and now presents in a definitely more vibrant ‘ Kermit Green’. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car
