This well known Queensland Group Nc Torana is a GTR XU-1 clone with a LJ body built in May 1972. First developed by Greg Burrowes, in 1994, it ran at Lakeside’s Historic Queensland in 1995. Originally the car was finished in the standard, but quite rare, GMH Linamint and now presents in a definitely more vibrant ‘ Kermit Green’. This is a unique piece of V8 Supercar and Dick Johnson Racing history and has only had two owners after its time at DJR. Originally built as an AU model Ford Falcon V8 Supercar, this car (chassis DJR AU12) was converted to BA bodywork by DJR and became a part of the Bowden Collection of cars before being purchased by its current Queensland-based owner in 2014.
