1969 Volvo 142S Group N Race Car Fantastic entry into Historic racing. Solid and reliable, exciting and affordable racing. I’ve owned and raced the car since 2018, but a new race car means the Volvo must go. Fresh engine (sealed) put in two meetings ago. Very fast cars for their period and the best brakes in the field. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car
