This is a highly sought-after two-litre Super Touring car from the celebrated era of British Touring Car Championship racing. A 1997-build car constructed and run by MSD (Motor Sport Developments) in that year’s BTCC and driven by British ace Patrick Watts in its distinctive Esso Ultron green and gold livery. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since.
