The Nota Major was the 29th car produced by the Nota factory in Sydney to the order of Mr. Barrie Garner whose intention was to win the prestigious NSW Hillclimb Championships and he succeeded by winning it in 1962. In addition he raced it between 1960 and 1962 at Bathurst, Warwick Farm and Catalina Park with some success.
