A very quick car that goes really really well, and sounds glorious - the 3.0i Busso V6 is known to be one of the all time great engines. If I was keeping it I would put a set of 17" teledials on it. ( I have a set of 16" teledials, so they will go with the car, just needs spacers (supplied) to clear the Brembos - Only selling as I have a race project on the go (yes, it's an Alfa......) The Nota Major was the 29th car produced by the Nota factory in Sydney to the order of Mr. Barrie Garner whose intention was to win the prestigious NSW Hillclimb Championships and he succeeded by winning it in 1962. This car was built in 1965 as one of 2 that was run in that years European Formula 2 as works and fitted with the new BRM F2 engine. Some 7 cars were built and Cooper too the deacon to have its cars entered and rob by Ken Tyrrell on behalf of the works. The drivers for that works entry for 1965 were John Surtees, Bob Bondurant and principally Jackie Stewart. This car was predominantly driven by Stewart at all UK and European GP's. Incidentally, Stewart was 1964 Formula 3 Champion at that stage.
